MTV’s Punk’d is coming back to television, and we have a feeling a lot of little tweens are going to be tuning in to the show all of a sudden. Want to know why? Justin Bieber is the new host!

According to NY Magazine, the Biebs has been named the new host of the show, still executive produced by Ashton Kutcher.

Kutcher announced he was retiring Punk'd back in 2007, but even then sources at MTV indicated the network hoped to one day revive the brand. We’re sure they just ran out of ideas after a while. But having four years to think of new pranks couldn’t have hurt the production!

This is a pretty genius idea if you think about it. JB will draw in a whole new demographic for the show—tween girls dying to see their heartthrob play jokes on unsuspecting celebrities.

How much are they going to flip out when they discover Justin Bieber is behind the pranks?! Great decision on staying behind the cameras this time around, Ashton. We know you’re a kid at heart, but leave the punking to the little punk himself.
