>Justin Bieber: I want to be normal
>
TEEN heart-throb Justin Bieber has a multi-million fortune and 10million adoring fans - but sometimes he longs to jack it all in for a normal life.
The baby-faced singer, 16, said: "If I was at home and I wasn't doing this, I'd wish that I was in this position.
"Now that I'm here, I sometimes wish I could just go back home and just chill."
But Justin's autobiography, out on Thursday, reveals his life before fame wasn't typical.
His Canadian parents Pattie and Jeremy were in their late teens when he was born, and split when he was 10 months old. In his book First Step 2 Forever, Justin says: "When I was little, I longed for a 'normal' life with a 'normal' family.
"Mom worked her butt off at whatever job she could get to keep a roof over our heads.
"There were no luxuries but it never occurred to me that we were poor. We had each other, which was everything."
Pattie would invite round "interesting, artsy people" to play music, and Justin taught himself the guitar and singing.
He got in extra practice after being grounded twice - once for skipping school and another time after a run-in with police.
Justin explains: "We sneaked out and went bike-riding at 2am, and the cops picked us up and took us home.
"My mom came unglued about that, and I was grounded for a few weeks but that gave me time to work on my chords and good guitar riffs."
Justin tried to keep his love of singing quiet at school for fear of being picked on. He said: "Unfortunately for the bullies, my dad was an ex-professional fighter who used to take me to his training sessions.
"I'm not a fighter by nature but if somebody shoved me, I shoved back harder." Justin's first appearance on YouTube - the video website that launched him to stardom - was at a mass brawl at his school.
He said: "A bunch of people were involved and a bunch more were taking videos of it with their cellphones. Nobody got seriously hurt but the video made it look like something out of Mortal Kombat."
The next video was him coming third at a singing contest in his home town of Stratford, Ontario.
It was posted on YouTube by Pattie, and afterwards Justin decided to try his hand at busking. He said: "Mom wasn't sure, so she insisted on having Grandpa sit in his car across the street.
"I was hoping I'd get 20 bucks. After a couple of hours, I had almost $200. I felt like I'd discovered a gold mine. At the end of one day, there was a note in my guitar case. It was something like, 'You're cute! Call me! Love, Tiffany.' And a phone number. I was 12."
Pattie wanted him to start a college fund but Justin used the cash to take them to Disney World - their first holiday.
Videos of him busking ended up on YouTube and he was signed by a record label and mentored by R&B star Usher. Justin - worth an estimated £100million now, is touring the world - but being a mega- star is far from easy.
During one rehearsal he was left hanging 30ft above a stage when his harness got stuck. No one heard his yells over the music. And when a choreographer asked if he was ok, Justin said: "No. I am about to die. Get me down!"
He also broke his foot at London's Wembley Arena when he was supporting Taylor Swift.
He said: "My foot rolled right to the edge of a ramp, and it felt like stepping on a railroad spike. In the middle of a song. In front of 12,000 people. And Taylor Swift."
He made it to the end of his set, but said: "Once I got backstage, I howled like a dog. I won't lie."
No wonder he wants to go home sometimes!

>Justin Bieber Never Say Never NYC Premier!
>
NEW YORK — As Bieber fever was taking over New York City on Wednesday night, the boy wonder himself, Justin Bieber, watched "Never Say Never" alongside fans at a premiere screening of his new 3-D film. Afterward, Bieber stayed to chat with his faithful followers about the movie and answered several questions in an unexpected Q&A.
Bieber eventually fielded more than five queries, while giving some insight into the making of the film. "My favorite part was probably going back to my hometown and being with my friends," he revealed. "And I also like giving always all the tickets to the fans."
Sharing with his fans that he's "extremely happy" these days, he said that the movie took two months to shoot. He also laughed as he mentioned one fan included in the film that gave him a bit of the heebie-jeebies.
"You know what creeped me out?" he quipped. "When that girl was like, 'I will be his wife.' "
The film includes footage of a concert stop at New York's Madison Square Garden that featured cameos from Miley Cyrus and a number of other celebrities. Bieber explained that he loved singing his track "Overboard" with Cyrus. "It was great. She was really nice and everything," he said. "I loved performing with Boyz II Men, too."
While audience members were asked to stick to questions about the movie, one fan did have the guts to inquire about Bieber's reported relationship with Selena Gomez. "I think anyone would be lucky to date her," the pop star explained. "She's a great person."
Justin had a few final words for the adoring crowd before leaving the theater. "I feel very honored and happy because without you guys I wouldn't be here. I love you guys and I got to go. Thank you to the [production company] Magical Elves, but most of all I want to thank Chuck Norris, without him I wouldn't have been born," he joked. "He's not my dad. Swag."
He told the crowd, "Yo, yo, yo ... I need everyone to sit down. [Director] Jon Chu, can you come over here ... doesn't he look spiffy? Did you guys like the movie? Do you feel like you know me a little bit more now? Since I'm here, I'm gonna answer five questions."

>Justin Bieber's Bullying Hypocrisy? Photog Accuses Biebs' Bodyguard of Assault
>
Justin Bieber just told us it's "not cool" to be a bully—now a photographer is accusing the Biebs of having a bully on his payroll.
Celebrity photog Jason Nicholas tells E! News that last Friday, as he was waiting for Kylie Minogue outside the London Hotel in New York, he stumbled instead upon Bieber.
As Bieber headed out of the hotel, Nicholas says he tried to snap a photo. That's when the bodyguard stepped in, and, per Nicholas, got too overprotective, sending the shooter to the hospital.
"I had been taking pics for Black Friday shopping when I got a tip Kylie was at the hotel," Nicholas tells us. "But then I see Bieber's driver...and I figure he's there and coming out soon [Bieber had a book signing at a nearby Barnes & Noble], so I wait by the entrance, but off to the side. There wasn't much happening, I see a couple of fans off to the side waiting for his autograph and one other photog."
Nicholas says that he was acting like " a gentleman" standing quietly and doing "nothing out of the ordinary."
"Bieber comes out with a small group, two bodyguards, one handler and one other person. Without blocking the door I stuck my camera out with my arm and shot him."
Nicholas alleges at that point one of the bodyguards "snapped."
"He shoved me up against the SUV," Nicholas claims. "He was super aggressive and it happened right in front of Bieber, who got right in the car, but I got some usable pics out of it."
Then the oddest thing happened, says Nicholas.
"When Bieber got into the car, he put his mouth to the glass and let out a roar, like a primal scream, with his mouth wide open, it was so odd," he tells E! News.
Nicolas says he immediately began to feel some back pain, so an ambulance was called and he was carted off to New York Presbyterian Weill-Cornell Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a strained muscle and released later that day.
Nicholas, 40, filed an assault report against the bodyguard with the NYPD today.
Calls to Bieber's rep seeking comment were not immediately returned. The singer, who released a PSA last week taking a stand against bullies, is currently in Paris, nursing a cold.
Nicholas says he has talked to a lawyer but as of yet doesn't plan a lawsuit against Bieber; however, the photographer wants to make a point.
"I just want to stress, for the record, that everyone, paparazzi included, should have the right to come home from work at the end of the day in one piece."

>Justin Bieber, Amy Poehler Breakout Stars At Time 100 Gala
>
Although names like Bruno Mars and Oprah Winfrey made the final cut on this year's Time 100 list of the world's most-influential people, among the celebs MTV News spoke to at the ritzy black-tie gala in New York on Tuesday night, all the talk was about Justin Bieber and "Parks and Recreation" funny lady Amy Poehler.
La La Vazquez, with hubby Carmelo Anthony, by her side, said, "Justin Bieber actually loves 'Melo. They're still waiting to have a one-on-one basketball competition so maybe we can make that happen this summer." She continued, "I think it's an honor to be included in such an elite group and be invited to come celebrate. When I heard we got invited, I was like, 'Oh yes, we are going to this event tonight.' "
The Roots' drummer, Questlove, said he totally understands why the Biebs made the list. "I'm excited to see everybody tonight," he said. "I'm very humble to be here. It's too many to mention. I drummed with Bieber before. I think that there might have been a question to why he was included, but it's obvious this is a person that went from YouTube sensation to viral sensation to international superstar — that's gonna be the next level of celebrity."
Leave it to Poehler's "Parks and Rec" co-star Aziz Ansari to write in his own candidate. Asked whether he prefers Bieber or South Korean pop star turned actor Rain, who also made the list, Ansari joked, "I don't know who either of those people are." Adding, "The most influential person to me is probably Waka Flocka Flame. He's on the list, right? I'm pretty sure he was on there."
All jokes aside, Ansari had only love for Poehler. calling her a "very inspirational person; tremendously talented and really a leader in her field."
Poehler's former "Saturday Night Live" co-star Seth Meyers also had tons of love for her. "For me personally, Amy Poehler's the most influential on the list," he said. "I certainly wouldn't be invited to this without Amy Poehler, so that's a big step. Mostly just like providing coattails for me to ride on for years," he joked. "That's pretty key; that influenced me a lot."
About Bieber, Meyers later added: "I quote him a lot. I say 'Baby, baby, baby' a lot more than I used to. I work in a maternity ward in my off-time."

>News: Justin Bieber Beats Out Miley Cyrus
>
Justin Bieber has bested Hannah Montana legend Miley Cyrus as the ultimate teen star of the era. Or, even perhaps of all time. It seems the Biebs's blockbuster 3D documentary film Never Say Never is now beating out Miley Cyrus's Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour film.
According to Justin Bieber Zone, Never Say Never earned a reported $13.6 million in its second week compared to the $10.3 million made by Miley Cyrus’s movie, which was released three years ago.
In only two weeks, Bieber’s Never Say Never earned $51 million in the US, alone. In addition, the director's cut of Justin's film will be released today, which means that all true beliebers will have to return to the theaters this weekend to see the new scenes. Wow.
It seems that the teen dream's staggering popularity has become a self-perpetuating phenomenon.
Congrats, Justin. Keep up the good work. As for all you, true beliebers, get yourselves to the theater.

>Is Justin Bieber Still Shy?
>
With Justin Bieber being rated as the top four best dressed guys in Golden Globe Awards ceremony, the hitmaker still seems to be shy to meet a few celebrities. 16-yr-old Justin Bieber, who was dressed like the perfect prom date in his Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, wished to stay away from the famous british comedian Ricky Gervais.
Justin Bieber reportedly hired a few bodyguards to shield him from Ricky Gervais at the sunday night's ceremony.
Justin Bieber reportedly hired a few bodyguards to shield him from Ricky Gervais at the sunday night's ceremony.
“His team are not going to let [Ricky Gervais] anywhere near Justin when he is backstage. In fact it looks as if Justin will arrive at the last possible time to keep out of Ricky’s way,” a source said.
“He’s petrified of being made to look a fool. Let’s face it, Ricky wouldn’t spare him just because he’s a kid!”
The very reason why Justin Bieber tried to avoid Gervais was because Gervais, in the previous award ceremony, had made fun at Mel Gibson and Angelina Jolie.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber has called himself “nuts”.
“I’m crazy, I’m nuts. Just the way my brain works. I’m not normal. I think differently — my mind is always racing. I’m just … nuts. But I think the best musicians probably are,” he said.
“I just turn over all night and think. My mind races. I think about all the things I didn’t have time to think about during the day – like family and God and things that should be more important but you don’t have time to think about, because you just get caught up in everything else during the day.”

>Taio Cruz is writing music for Bieber!
>R&B singer and song writer Taio Cruz told MTV News that he is currently writing for a younger audience-Justin Bieber fans. Taio is planning on keeping it more pop than R&B for him. You can catch what he had to say at the video in the bottom of this post.
I have no idea on who Taio Cruz is really, I might have heard of him once or twice. I suppose he is gaining more attention now than he has in the past. I cannot wait to hear the song he writes for Justin!
Are you excited for this news? Do you think Taio will write some really good music for Justin? I wonder if Justin is aiming for an R&B sound than with his debut album? I get a feeling that Justin may try to grow up with his newer music, but I wonder how this will go for him. Granted, most pop male artists are able to do this without any issues-yet so many of Justin’s fans love his teeny bopper sound.

>‘U Smile’ Music Video Director Reveals The REAL Reason Why Justin & Anastasia Kassar Don’t Kiss!
>
In the “U Smile” video, Justin Bieber and Anastasia Kassar have incredible chemistry and he sings about her lips — so why doesn’t he seal the deal with a kiss? HollywoodLife.com has the exclusive behind-the-scenes answer!
Justin Bieber is quite the charmer in his “U Smile” video! The 16-year-old pop star meets a beautiful blond fan, played by actress Anastasia Kassar, and is taken by her lovely smile. However, despite singing about her lips (his “biggest weakness”), Justin never actually puckers up — and Colin Tilley explained to HollywoodLife.com why Justin passed up the chance to get up close and really personal with his stunning co-star!
“We try and keep it PG,” the 22-year-old director told us exclusively.
After going though tons of head shots and resumes, Colin says something about Anastasia stood out, which is why she was the perfect fit to play Justin’s love interest.
“She just seemed like she really worked for the party and the tone of the video and song. She had a great personality and that really helps when you’re on set.”
In fact, Justin and Anastasia hit it off so well, they ended up improvising most of their flirty interactions in the video (we wonder how his GF feels about that!)!
“On set, I’d say 75% of our stuff…is improv from Justin, just a lot of the natural moments with [Anastasia],” Colin explained. “Some of the stuff in the hallways, with them running down, on the pole and stuff — that was just in the moment. And that whole intro part was actually freestyle. Some of the raw footage was from a flip cam. We made it work!”
They certainly did. Justin and Anastasia’s natural chemistry is undeniable, but even with sparks flying on set, it hasn’t steered Justin away from his girlfriend Jasmine Villegas who joined Justin on his recent Hawaiian vacation with The Karate Kid star Jaden Smith. We gotta admit, we’re secretly bummed they kept the video PG — we wanted to see a kiss!

>Justin Bieber the Dare Devil!
>
Justin Bieber literally risked life and limb when he pulled off some insanely dangerous stunts during a cameo on "Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory," this week. Bieber proved that he's willing to put himself in the face of danger (and laugh at it) as he rode a go-cart into a foam pit and got dragged around the Fantasy Factory on a skateboard.
Bieber seemed to fit in perfectly in the testosterone-fueled world of the Factory, and he got us wondering what other MTV shows the Canadian superstar might want to visit next.
"Punk'd": This is a natural choice given that Bieber was once attached to a reboot of the show, taking over the hosting duties from Ashton Kutcher. Imagine the funny stunts he could pull on Asher Roth, Willow Smith (and the whole Smith family for that matter) and Usher. OMG!
"The Hills": Speaking of reboots, what better way to bring back that classic MTV reality show than by casting Bieber and his band of merry men, including swagger coach Ryan Good and manager Scooter Braun. I bet Ryan, Scooter and Bieber would give killer vacant stares to one another. Plus, we think that Justin Bobby could be a fun addition to the mix.
"Jersey Shore": Snooki once told the Biebs he'd look great in a blowout, now both parties should put their money where their mouth is, and Bieber should hang out with the crew for a season down the shore. Who needs Angelina when you can have Bieberino?
"ABDC": The kid can dance. Enough said.
"Beavis and Butt-Head": He was eager to hear the show would be coming back. Then again, we're not sure if Beavis and Butt-head would be too kind when commenting on a Bieber video. Maybe his animated alter ego could just join them on the couch?
What MTV show would you like to see Bieber appear on next? Tell us in the comments!
